Sheridan is steeped in Western culture. Held in mid-summer, the Sheridan County Rodeo showcases the best in local talent. Cowboys, cowgirls and cowkids compete in over two dozen events, from ropin’, ridin’, and racin’ to polo bending, goat tying and steer wrestling.
