When was the first paper published in the Sheridan area?

The Big Horn Sentinel was first published in 1884. Later newspapers in the Sheridan area included the Sheridan Post and the Sheridan Enterprise (both begun in 1887), the Dayton Harpoon (1900), and the Sheridan Journal (1925). In 1923, the Post and the Enterprise combined to form the Sheridan Post-Enterprise; it became the Sheridan Press in 1930.
