| Theater seats 483 "The WYO Theater's colorful history began in 1923. Opening as the Lotus, it was one of the first, and is now the oldest, operating vaudville theater in Wyoming. Through the years it has undergone many changes, but whatever those changes, the theater has always been an integral part of the community. When the theater closed in 1982, a group of concerned people committed itself to save the WYO: to renovate it so it would continue to provide quality entertainment for the community. During the next six years Save The WYO raised the necessary funds and on November 10, 1989, the WYO reopened to once again serve the area and its people." (WYO Theater: 2005) | |||
