Festivals & EventsBrew Fest

Enjoy unlimited beer sampling, live music and food during the annual Suds n' Spurs Brewfest, August 26, 2017.

The best brewers in the region convene under the Bighorns for the annual Suds n’ Spurs Brew Fest, a festival of fun, entertainment, beer sampling and food!

The Suds n’ Spurs Brew Fest is a major fundraiser for the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce. Funds raised will go toward furthering the missions of our committees and to programs and training opportunities for our business community.

On August 26 from 3:00pm -8:00pm, trade in your ticket for a wristband, your official Brewfest sampling glass, and your voting token. Then you’re on your way to UNLIMITED sampling – last year there were 20 breweries and even more expected this year! Make sure to participate in the 2016 People’s Choice Award, by dropping your token at your favorite brewer’s table.

THE BREWERIES

You’ll have unlimited tastings from 18 different craft brewers, representing SIX different states, including Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Utah, South Dakota, and Alaska!

2016 Suds n’ Spurs breweries included: Alaskan Brewing Co., Altitude Chophouse & Brewery, Black Tooth Brewing Company, Canyon Creek Brewing, Carter’s Brewing, Clear Creek Brewing Co., Crow Peak Brewing Co., Gillette Brewing Company, Luminous Brewhouse, New Belgium Brewing Company, Odell Brewing Co., Red Lodge Ales Brewing Company, Roadhouse Brewing Co., Snake River Brewing, Snowy Mountain Brewery, Uberbrew, Uinta Brewing Co., Upslope Brewing Company, PLUS local distributors: Big Horn Beverage and Metz Beverage

YOUR VOTE

All ticket holders will be asked to vote for THEIR FAVORITE BREWERY, as the People’s Choice Award of the event! Then stay ’til the end to see who takes home the coveted Balding Spur Award, a custom designed award by local artisan/craftsman Tom Balding of Tom Balding Bits and Spurs. There’s also a professionally judged competition in the Belgian Ale category, with the winner also receiving a custom designed Balding Spur.

THE MUSIC

Headlining this year’s event is boot-stomping country music artist Tris Munsick and the Innocents Band! The Sheridan County native has created an extensive fan base which spans multiple states in the upper Rocky Mountain region. Opening for Tris and returning to Sheridan by popular demand is Bozeman’s own The Wench Band!

THE FOOD VENDORS

Your opportunity to purchase delicious food from some of the best vendors around and to go along with that beer sampling! This year’s vendors include: Best of the West BBQ Fest, Pie in the Sky Brick Oven Pizza, and the 307 Bucking Grill.

THE SMOKING AREAS

Please smoke only in the designated areas.

THE TROLLEY SHUTTLE

The Sheridan Trolley will be providing complimentary shuttle service between the Holiday Inn and Whitney Commons Park, during the hours of the event. Additional public parking for the event is available in the north parking lot at the Holiday Inn. [shuttle schedule]

AND WHEN YOU LEAVE

We want everyone to get home safely. If you’re feeling tipsy when you’re ready to leave, event organizers will provide options for safe rides home. Come to the Brewfest main event tent.
