Embrace the Season

America’s historic Main Street is still alive in the city of Sheridan, especially during the holiday season when the city hosts the Annual Christmas Stroll in the heart of the Historic Downtown district.

A holiday tradition for nearly twenty years, Trail End State Historic Site’s Holiday Open House features figgy pudding, live entertainment, and a visit from Father Christmas himself. The mansion is decorated from top to bottom with garland, poinsettias, and seven decorated Christmas trees.

The Bighorns provide a winter wonderland! Ride the range by snowmobile or soar by ski on more than 218 miles of top-ten rated trails in the Bighorn Mountain Trail System.

Activities abound in our West, and you can experience them all . . . from unlimited western cultural activities in the historic town, to easy access recreation in the pristine Bighorn Mountains! Enjoy polo matches, rodeos, unique shopping, sight seeing, art, sporting events and outdoor concerts all summer long.

The nearby Bighorns offer a year-round paradise for outdoor adventurers, ranging from world-renowned fishing, hiking, biking, and hunting, to wildlife and flora viewing, to the winter-enthusiast sports of snowmobiling, boarding, and skiing!

In addition, as the ‘Golf Capital of Wyoming’, the area offers four challenging courses, each with distinctive options and majestic views.
