About the Mountain West Book Fest

The Mountain West Book Fest is a new literary event in Sheridan, bringing regional authors to our mountain town to connect with local readers, fellow writers, and book lovers of all kinds. Designed to become an annual celebration of literature, the festival will showcase authors and book-related artists from across the Mountain West.

We’re starting small in our inaugural year with 25 booths—and interest filled up quickly, resulting in a full roster of participating authors. This year’s lineup includes writers not only from our local area, but also from South Dakota, Colorado, Montana, and Idaho.

The event will take place at Whitney Commons Park from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., offering an afternoon of books, conversation, and community in the heart of Sheridan.
