Held each summer at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds, the Sheridan County Fair brings together the best of Wyoming’s western heritage, agriculture, and community spirit. From thrilling rodeo events and livestock shows to 4-H exhibits, carnival rides, live entertainment, mouthwatering fair food, and family-friendly activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re cheering on local competitors, strolling the midway, or connecting with friends and neighbors, the Sheridan County Fair is a cherished tradition that celebrates the people, culture, and hospitality of northern Wyoming.

2026 Sheridan County Fair Schedule

As part of Sheridan County’s celebration of America’s 250th, be sure to visit the Americana Display in the Historic Pavilion at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds, July 25 through August 3.

Explore patriotic exhibits created by Sheridan County 4-H clubs, meet local political candidates, and admire a collection of vintage tractors honoring America’s rich agricultural heritage.

On Saturday, August 1, don’t miss a full day of family fun, beginning with the Tractor Pull at 10:00 a.m. Later that evening, young cowboys and cowgirls take the spotlight as Mutton Bustin’ and Junior Bull Riding kick off at 5:00 p.m.
