Play In The SnowMoonlight Ski

Fat bike, ski and snowshoe under the stars with the Black Mountain Nordic Ski Club

Every year, during the winter months, the Black Mountain Nordic Ski Club hosts a couple of moonlight ski events at Sibley Lake, right off Highway 14 in the Bighorn Mountains. The Moonlight Ski events are free; all fat bikers, Nordic skiers, and snowshoe enthusiasts are welcome. The Nordic Ski Club will have the warming hut stocked with firewood, the stoves roaring, and a bonfire outside of the warming hut. The Nordic Club provides some food and refreshments (cookies, soup, condiments, hot chocolate, etc) but also highly encourages folks to bring their own beverages and snacks. Remember to use Leave No Trace ethics and pack out your own garbage.

If you would like to obtain more information on the event or learn how to become a member of the Black Mountain Nordic Ski Club, please visit their website or email blkmtnnordic@gmail.com
